High five for Friday

Happy, happy Friday everyone!

1. My new fav cleaner,  Windex Touch-up cleaner.
2. I am so in love with my town's cute little farmer's market every Thursday afternoon.
3. Hot new neon polish from Revlon in High Voltage.
4. Felt a little stressed this week,  you're never too old for a coloring break. :)
5. Had to add a little mint to my workout.

Not so hot neon

 REVLON NAIL ART NEON™ here

Okay for weeks now I have passed this in the cosmetics isle and debated if I should get it. Well last night I finally took the plunge. 

It's neon that's for sure. 

Two coats of white and two coats of High Voltage later and the color was matte. Not to mention if the white wasn't even thickness there was color variation.

Well I guess that's what I get for making and impulse buy and not reading reviews. But it's a summer color so I might as well live it up while I have it on.

Guilty pleasures

First and foremost I hope that everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend!

Okay so, I don't know about everyone else but the work week after a holiday weekend really seems to drag (yawn). So I thought we could spice the remainder of the week up with a few of my guilty pleasures. 

1. Alright ladies I don't know about you but I am totally in love with a British accent, enough said there.

2. I never can turn down and upbeat musical number from Glee. It just puts me in my happy place. 

3. Who really can resist a tasty treat with a green straw?

4. Okay okay, I know I know! It's like car accident you can't help but not watch. 

5. Rag mags, I am a total sucker at the grocery store check out.

Everyone needs to dish, I want to know your guilty pleasures.

High five for Friday

1. Enjoying the beautiful purple lilac on my evening walks this week. They don't last long so I have to take it in while I can.

2. Painting on little Essie this week. I am so addicted to this color, Bikini so teeny. 

3. It's finally outdoor weather so the little man and I need to soak up the sun. 

4. Colorful snack of the week in the ever so cool Gyro Bowl. :)

5. Saving the best for last Brat Fest baby! It started to today with take your brat to work day. Yay!

Who's ready?

Okay so, I know that it's only Thursday but, I have one thing on my mind...a three day weekend! I think that Memorial Day is the unofficial start to summer. I have so many things to jam into my extended weekend and I can say that I have never looked forward to such little sleep. 

Just a quick preview, tomorrow starts with Brat Fest and Take your brat to work day! (Wisconsinites you know what I am talking about!). Saturday begins with a canoe trip on the river and ends with a beer under the tent at Music Fest. I am sure that I will manage to fit a bonfire in there somewhere. Sunday might be a late rising day but sure to be followed by fireworks on Willow Island at Brat Fest with the little man. And Monday to end my sweet weekend is time to cookout and reminisce with friends about our awesome weekend (pictures to follow).

What are your plans, I have to hear? Or am I just crazy for doing all of this in one weekend?

SAM & LIBBY for Target

It never fails I go into Target for one thing (this time is happened to be toothpaste, I had a coupon) and $150 later I end up leaving. The reason being Target had to go and to it again. Another collaboration, not that I am complaining, they are always AWESOME! They just happen to go against my better judgment of spending more money on shoes.

This time they got me with their new SAM & LIBBY for Target collection for summer. Tribal and animal prints, neon and nudes and they are all under $35. I had to narrow  it down and these are my top picks.

There is nothing I love more than a period piece movie and well the The Great Gatsby is not exception.
Let's hear your take on the remake.
I haven't seen it yet but I've managed to make some time for it this weekend.
With period movies you get all of the great costumes and I think this one takes the cake! So off to the interweb I went in search of great art deco fashions. And well to be completely honest I just couldn't get enough of the gold. It really quite is the cat's pajamas.
